Bellbird Baby

6 years old

49 pounds

Female

Beagle Mix

She was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society from another area shelter through FOCAS.
She really doesn’t like being in the kennels. When she comes out for a walk or playtime, Bellbird Baby is immediately very social. She makes eye contact and wags her whole body.
Bellbird Baby’s new family will need to appreciate that hound breeds are usually vocal and they can be clingy.
It wouldn’t hurt her to lose a few pounds. The adoption counselors can help with some suggestions for her new family.

The $145 adoption fee for Bellbird Baby includes medical exam, spay, up to date vaccinations, and registered microchip.

Shameless Plug:

Sunday, July 31st is National Mutt Day.
Vocabulary.com say “A mutt is any dog that’s a combination of different breeds, rather than one identifiable breed.”
Webster’s Dictionary says most dogs in America are mutts. And we love them!

  • Mixed breed dogs are thought to be healthier than purebreds.
  • They cost less.
  • When you get a mutt, you’re NOT supporting a puppy mill.
  • They make terrific companion and service dogs.
  • They’re AWESOME!
