Miss Daisy was transferred from a crowded sanctuary in Sonora through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program in September 2020. She was adopted right away. Now she’s been returned.
Daisy moved 3 times with her family. The last time they moved, Daisy was living in a 2nd story condo without a yard…and her owner had a new roommate. It took her a couple weeks to figure out that the roommate was okay.
She has lived with several dogs and cats. It took her a couple weeks to get used to cats.
Daisy did not like being left alone. She would try to escape. She even squeezed through the patio screen door and jumped off her balcony. Fortunately, she was not injured.
She likes “high value” treats including chicken and other meats.
Daisy likes other dogs. She can get nervous in large groups of dogs. She likes to run and chase and play fetch. She is playful, clingy, and a bit shy.
