Miss. Patti has been donating all of her free time to schools in the Vista Unified School District since 1992, despite not having any children or grandchildren living anywhere near California. Miss Patti has run the PTA at Maryland Elementary and gives all her time and resources to helping the families of students in any way possible. Miss Patti is a true angel to the students and dedicates what she can to those having a rough school year, and that is why she is the very definition of a Hometown Hero.
