On November 19th, Rachel’s son, Robert, developed a blood clot before an important surgery. This ultimately made his heart stop which forced doctors to put him in a medically induced coma and hook him to a machine that keeps his heart beating.
As Robert waits for a heart transplant, Rachel is at the hospital with him every step of the way. The bills are stacking up and that is not even the worst of her problems. In the meantime, Rachel can only pray that Robert gets well soon.
Rachel’s best friend, Cherie, hopes to bring some joy and hope into Rachel’s life this holiday season with her nomination for Christmas Wish.
