Meet Louie, a tall handsome Labrador/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix with a beautiful coat and gorgeous amber colored eyes. He weighs about 75 lbs, and is very lean and in shape. He is still young at heart and is has learned a lot from his foster brothers and sisters and is a very good boy. He is good on leash and likes to go for long walks and loves to chase the ball. He is good with other dogs and loves to play. Louie is very affectionate and he gets very excited when you first get home! He gets along well with his foster brothers and loves to wrestle with them. Cats are a little too interesting to him , so a home without cats would be best. He is also a very tall boy with long legs and he loves to get exercise!
His life started as a stray and he ended up in a shelter before Rover’s Retreat rescued him. He is very smart and learns quickly when trying new things. Louie loves to be with his people and he is a fan of having his booty and his belly rubbed. He’s a little “mouthy” but he is learning quickly and only gets that way when he gets excited, like when you get home. He’ll make a loyal companion and you will always be safe with Louie around!
He is potty trained and knows how to use the doggie door. He is an amazing dog and he will be your best friend, guardian, and all around good boy!!
