Purple Fun Facts:
– Prince had many nicknames: The Kid, The Purple Perv, The Minneapolis Midget, Alexander Nevermind, Christopher Tracy and The Artist Formerly Known As Prince. And as a kid he was called “Skipper!”
– Prince’s first band formed when he was just 13 yrs old. The group was called Grand Central, and then Champagne, playing original music in the style of Sly and The Family Stone and Earth, Wind & Fire.
– Each room at Paisley Park was wired for sound so that Prince could record at any given moment – whenever inspiration struck.
