About Patrick:
Patrick hasn’t had an easy start, yet he meets every day with kindness. He came to San Diego Humane Society in March 2025 with a stab wound to his neck, and through his treatment he’s shown us how incredibly resilient he is. His bright, upbeat energy is contagious and turns even an ordinary day into something fun.
Patrick loves to play. He’s always up for fetch, a good walk, or any activity that keeps him moving. He’ll thrive with a home that can give him plenty of exercise and engagement. He’s also a smart dog who picks up new tricks quickly, which makes training enjoyable and rewarding. He’d be a great fit for an active family looking for a fun, loyal companion.
On leash, Patrick can pull a little at first from sheer excitement to be out of his kennel. He often likes to carry a toy on walks, almost as if he’s proudly showing it off.
Patrick gets along well with other dogs and participates in our Animal Care playgroups. We think he’d do well in a home with another playful dog to help keep him busy and enriched. He’s also part of our Dog Day Out program, so you can take him out for a day and enjoy an adventure together.
