Shellena was found walking around the streets of Chula Vista by a good Samaritan. Shellena is a Red-Eared Slider Turtle and lives in a semi-aquatic habitat, which means she lives in both water and land. Red-Eared Sliders are one of the more social and popular species of the semi-aquatic turtles. She can live up to 40+ years and grow up to 12 inches in shell size, we guess she is about 8+ years old and currently measures at a length of 9 inches. She will do best with a family who is ready to invest in a unique habitat for her or for a family that may already have one. Semi- Aquatic turtles require about 10 gallons of water per inch of shell.
