Dr. Harjot Gill is a hardworking and selfless individual, who has worked through the pandemic as a local veterinarian. Although, Dawn has only been working for Dr. Gill for only 3 months, he has given her a greater appreciation for pets, clients, and the field. This is why Dawn has nominated Dr. Gill as her Hometown Hero.

Live music returned to San Diego on Sunday, June 7 to raise money for Feeding San Diego. The Drive-In Shows at Petco Park in the Lexus Premier Parking Lot, featured performances by Grammy-award winning SWITCHFOOT, Hirie (acoustic), B-Side Players, SM Familia and Los Sleepwalkers.

After having a switch up at the end of his school year at Mt. Carmel High School from missing senior activities like prom and graduation, Jaden Patawaran decided to do what he can to help others during the pandemic by picking up a job as a courtesy clerk at a local grocery store. His initiative to work countless hours, putting himself at risk, while balancing the rest of what he would consider his school year. He was inspired by his father, Harlan who nominated him as his Jagger and Kristi’s Hometown Hero....
