Laura has had a rough year struggling with cancer, with 10 rounds of chemotherapy since last May. Because of Laura’s health condition, Peter, Laura’s son, is the only one able to work. She is still faced with the financial burden of numerous doctors’ appointments, facing homelessness, and the struggle to pay for her other bills and put food on the table.
