Tipperary is Jagger and Kristi’s Kritter. She’s a 3-year-old, 69-pound, female, Shepherd mix. Even though she looks like it, she’s NOT a Border Collie. (We checked her DNA.)

Tipperary has been a guest at Rancho Coastal Humane Society just more than 2 years. She has spent some time in foster care in the home of a volunteer.

Tipperary was found running stray in the Imperial Valley when she was less than one-year-old. She was picked up and taken to an animal shelter. After that she was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program.

Tipperary will do best with a family that is familiar with dogs who like to herd.

She still acts very much like a puppy. She needs lots of mental and physical exercise.

You can’t leave her alone all day while you go to work. She will find ways to fill the time, but probably not ways that you will appreciate.

Tipperary will also do better if she has a yard where she can do Zoomies and play and use up some of her energy.

The $145 adoption fee for Tipperary includes medical exam, spay, up to date vaccinations, registered microchip, and a one-year license if the adopter lives in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society.
