Peaches is a beautiful but timid rabbit that weighs only about 5 lbs. She has been at the shelter since April 29th, 2019 which makes her part of the long-term residence club. At first, she might shy away from you but once you have her in your arms you will not want to let her go. Her fur is soft and therapeutic to pet which will help you relax after a long, rough day. Peaches would benefit from a home that is mellow with older children. It’s not recommended young children be in the home due to how fragile rabbits are.
You can meet Peaches for an interaction at the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility located at 130 Beyer Way in Chula Vista, 91911. Stop in Tuesday through Friday, 10am- 4pm or Saturday 10am-3pm. You can fill out an application beforehand at https://www.chulavistaca.gov/departments/animal-care/adoptions/adoption-application or one can be completed in person. If this is your first time considering a rabbit the staff will walk you through everything you will need to know to make an informed decision.
