Brownie, a 2-year-old neutered male Siberian Husky, is looking for his new best friend. In his previous home, Brownie lived with other dogs and loved to play with them, so he might be a good fit for a family that would like to add another canine companion to their home. He also does well around children, but older, sturdy kids will probably be best. He is a friendly guy who likes affection and does well meeting new people. Brownie will need a home that is breed savvy and someone that will spend lots of extra time with him. If he is left alone for long periods of time or outdoors, he will escape out of boredom. He would love a new family that understands the importance of mental and physical enrichment. He was a runner in his previous home and has been enrolled in the Humane Society’s volunteer Run Rover Run program and is doing great! If you are looking for a running partner, Brownie is the guy for you!
Brownie’s adoption fee is $95. His adoption includes his neuter, microchip and vaccinations. The San Diego Humane Society, Escondido Campus, located at 3450 E. Valley Parkway, is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week. For more information about Brownie and other animals available for adoption, log on to www.sdhumane.org or call (760) 888-BARK.
