Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Are you accepting Interns now? Probably.
  2. What should I do first? Make sure you will get college credit for the internship. We will need a document from your school stating that you will get credit for your work.
  3. I'll get credit at my school, now what? Fill out an application, they are available at the front desk of MAGIC 92.5 (map). We will call you back within a few days and arrange an interview.
  4. What kind of work will I be doing? Most internships are in the MAGIC 92.5 promotions department. There are also programming, sales, studio, and other opportunities available if requested or better fitting for your goals.
  5. How long does an internship last? Depends on the requirements from your school, usually the length of a semester/quarter.
  6. How many hours will I have to work? We require that our interns work a minimum of 15 hours per week which includes weekends. However, it also depends on your school, the hours usually relate to the number of units you are earning for the internship.
  7. Can I be an intern more then one semester in a row? Yes, as long as we want you back.
  8. I'm not in college but I want to be an intern, do you have paid internships available? No.
