We’re sorry to say the “Rhinestone Cowboy” singer, Glen Campbell has passed away.

The country singer died after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

He had a long 5o-year career where he released more than 70 albums, mostly in the ’60s and ’70s including singles, “Gentle on My Mind,” “Wichita Lineman,” “Galveston,” “Country Boy,” and his best-selling single, “Rhinestone Cowboy.” He won 4 Grammys in the country and pop categories!

He also was an actor and TV host who starred in “The Glen Cambell Goodtime Hour” and the 2014 documentary “I’ll Be Me,” which documented his farewell tour and struggle with Alzheimer’s.
