Summary of essential job functions
The successful candidates duties will include but are not limited to: Working with salespeople, clients and local or national agencies to obtain and enter commercial copy into the Marketron and Next Gen systems. Communicate daily with production to ensure the correct traffic is running at all times for each advertiser. Candidate will also work closely with the traffic director to make revisions to the commercial logs as needed and will assist salespeople with reports and discrepancies as needed.

Minimum requirements
The position requires strict attention to details and accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines.​ Marketron experience a plus. Candidate must have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.​ In addition, the right candidate must have:

College Education
Previous traffic and continuity experience preferred
Accuracy and detail oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong work ethic; can work independently.​
Must also have basic knowledge of MS office products, i.​e.​, MS Word and Windows environment.

Social Media Internship Program

Local Media San Diego is a local, independent radio group in San Diego that includes radio stations 91X, Magic 92.5 and Z90. Socially, our main goal is to build a community of people that are engaged in the station brands, creating more on-air listenership, increased attendance at station events and shows, and increased digital traffic (database, unique visitors and frequency).

We are looking for fun, enthusiastic interns to work with our Social Media/Content Team! Interns will assist with creating and curating content for our Websites and social media channels: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat.

What you will learn:
• How to create and guide compelling content that engages the audience demographic for each station.
• How to track Social Media and Website analytics and the success of posts and content.
• How to effectively work in a fast-paced environment.
• Photography and possible video editing if the opportunity presents itself.

Account Executive

Front-End Web Developer

Local Media San Diego, LLC is actively recruiting a Front-End Web Developer to join our top-notch design and development team. We are San Diego based radio broadcasting company and a member of SDLocal, a joint operating agreement between Local Media San Diego, LLC and Midwest Television, Inc. SDLocal supports the digital products of five diverse San Diego radio brands: 91X , Magic 92.5 and Z90. -Setting up Wordpress environment for 3 radio station Websites.
-Convert PSDs to pixel perfect HTML and implement them in a Wordpress design.
-Work on existing Wordpress installation & themes, finding bugs and improving them
-Manage BuddyPress installation
-Writing of technical documentation
-Deliver very clean, high quality code
-Collaborate with entire team on new ideas and implementations

– 2+ years experience and strong expertise developing in PHP/WordPress development.- Strong experience with HTML and CSS(3)- Expertise in developing responsive websites
– Experience with UX/UI Design- Experience working with JavaScript/jQuery
– Understanding of AJAX and experience with the integration of third-party APIs
– Expertise and understanding of Google Analytics- Understanding of Google DFP

Bus Driver

Local Media San Diego, LLC has an immediate opening for a bus driver to drive/operate our 45 foot Freight Passenger Bus. Driver will be responsible for driving the bus to locations throughout San Diego for fifteen (15) to twenty-five (25) hours per week. Driver will interact with clients and public, so good attitude and positive attitude is a must.

Bus Driver requirements:
Class A license with airbrake and passenger endorsement
Experience driving buses

On-Air Board Operator

The qualified candidates will:
• Operate broadcast console
• Read and follow format log and play the correct spots and station ID’s at the appropriate times.
• Operate faders, monitor audio levels, and segue music – ensure the music is tight.
• Board ops will need to show up 30 minutes prior to live broadcast to check in and make sure studio is set up for broadcast.
• Communicate effectively with program directors. Other duties may be assigned.
• May help administer contests, answer listener phone calls, screen listener calls for live shows.
• Board operators may also be responsible for monitoring additional radio stations simultaneously.

Account Executive

Local Media San Diego is seeking an Account Executive with extensive account service
experience in automotive advertising. The candidate is knowledgeable about the car
business and able to communicate with dealers on their level. You should
also have working knowledge and experience on how to help increase sales and
market share for your dealer clients. Strong consideration for those with marketing and
advertising experience in other areas outside of automotive will be made.

Must be able to conceptualize and create Automotive Advertising Campaigns.

Someone with good marketing skills and media savvy capable of providing the right creative strategy; able to use your understanding of market share and competitive analysis to determine the strongest marketing and media plans. You must be a self- directed leader.

Minimum three years media sales experience with auto dealers/groups.
