Lucky is a 5-year-old male Chihuahua mix available for adoption at San Diego Humane Society’s Escondido Campus. Lucky is a special little fellow: he was brought to the San Diego Humane Society by a good Samaritan after being hit by a car. His left rear leg was severely injured in the accident, and as a result his leg had to be amputated. He hasn’t been slowed down one bit by his circumstances and can’t wait to start a new life with a loving family. Lucky can be a wee bit shy upon first meeting new people, but once you get to know him you will find him to be a wonderful, loving companion. He enjoys going for walks and spending time with his human friends, and he has gotten along with other small dogs at the shelter. He is looking forward to a home where he will be loved!
Lucky’s adoption fee is $95 and includes his neuter, microchip and vaccinations. The San Diego Humane Society, Escondido Campus, located at 3450 E. Valley Parkway, is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week. For more information about Lucky and other animals available for adoption, log on to www.sdhumane.org or call (760) 888-BARK.
